1. Scoring system

Every predicted match earns points, tiered by how close the prediction was:

Prediction accuracyPoints
Exact score (e.g. predicted 2:1, final 2:1)4
Correct goal difference, wrong score (e.g. predicted 2:1, final 3:2)3
Correct outcome (win/draw/loss), wrong goal difference2
Wrong outcome0

Underdog bonus: Some matches are flagged with an underdog. Correctly predicting the underdog's win earns a bonus on top — a flat +2 points when no odds are available, or scaled with the odds (where available for the competition) between +1 and +6 points. The more surprising the underdog win, the bigger the bonus — bold predictions pay off.

2. Matchday win

Whoever scores the most points within a group on a given matchday wins that matchday. If multiple members tie for the top spot, the win is split proportionally between them — two tied leaders each get half a matchday win.

Matchday wins don't add extra points by themselves. They only act as a tiebreaker in the overall standings when two members are exactly tied on total points.

3. Standings & tiebreakers

The standings are sorted by:

  1. Total points (prediction points + any carried-over starting points + season question points)
  2. on a tie: number of matchday wins
  3. on a further tie: display name, alphabetically

4. Tip trend

Before kickoff, SC0RE shows how your group has mostly predicted a match (e.g. "68% home win") — but only once you've submitted your own prediction for that match. Individual predictions from your group members stay hidden until kickoff; only the aggregated trend is released, so nobody can lean on the majority before committing to their own pick.

5. Season questions

Before a season starts, the competition offers preview questions (e.g. "Who will win the title?"). Depending on the group creator's plan, the group can activate a selection of them; on the Free plan, every question marked as part of the free set is available automatically.

Points per team are assigned based on estimated odds of success: favorites are worth few points, underdogs are worth many — just like regular predictions, boldness pays off. Once the season ends, the actual result is entered and points are awarded.

6. Carrying over points

Switching to SC0RE mid-season from another prediction league? You don't have to start from zero: each member enters their own previous point total (optionally including matchday wins already earned). The group admin confirms or corrects the value before it counts toward the standings — nothing is ever entered automatically on a member's behalf.

7. Groups

Every group has a link to join, optionally protected with a password. How many members a group can hold, whether custom branding is available, and how many groups you can create at once depends on the group creator's plan (see table below).

In every group's prediction tab, "Add matches to calendar" lets you download the full fixture list as a calendar file and import it into your calendar app.

If the same device is a member of several groups with the same competition, you can turn on "Cross-group predictions" in Settings — a prediction you submit then automatically applies to all of them, instead of entering it separately in each group. Off by default.

9. Fair play

SC0RE is a purely recreational prediction game for friends or coworkers. There's no money at stake and no real-money payout — just bragging rights among friends and colleagues. SC0RE is not gambling.
